Amanda discovered her passion for financial planning when she realized it was the perfect intersection between her desire to help people and interest in finance. Her goal is to ease the anxiety that often comes with handling personal finances. She wants to help clients establish clear goals for their life and put them on a path toward achieving those goals.

outside of work

Amanda is a La Grange native but now lives in Louisville. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She is a member of Future 1st: Oldham County Young Professionals group and is a Junior Board Member and volunteer advisor for Savvy Ladies, a non-profit financial helpline that strives to reduce economic and racial disparities in financial education for women.

Degree in Business Administration Management, minor in Finance, and certificate in Personal Financial Planning. Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Honors College. (Western Kentucky University)

The award was created to spotlight mission-driven financial advisors and strengthen awareness of the connection between financial education, charitable efforts, and long-term community impact.

The 20 Under 40 Award recognizes young leaders who are making a difference in Oldham County's community and workplaces.

¹Nominees must be currently working as registered representatives, registered investment advisors, or financial advisors with a professional designation. Nominees must be active financial advisors, defined by spending at least 75% of their time providing financial consultation with clients. Nominees must have worked in this capacity for at least three years. Volunteer involvement with the nonprofit organization must be current and ongoing for at least three years. Nominations are evaluated based on an advisor's leadership, dedication, contribution, inspiration and impact on a nonprofit and the community it serves. Three finalists are selected in each of the five categories with one winner being chosen for each award. Award finalists and winners receive generous donations from Invest in Others to their designated charities.

²Oldham County’s 20 Under 40 issued by Oldham Era and Baptist Health La Grange. Businesses and individuals can nominate candidates in various categories by submitting a photo and information about why this person should be recognized. Nominees must be 39 years old or younger. A nominee can't turn 40 until the following year. Nominees must also reside OR work in Oldham County.
